Hiring – Tender Commercial Specialist
Job Description:
* Read, understand and review tender documents, especially in relation to the bill of quantities and items with cost impact.
* Review the assessment prepared by the Estimator against the requirement of the tender document and discuss any unclear estimates or data.
* Prepare an internal commercial proposal.
* Apply the internal bill of quantities in the client’s required format or formulate the bill of quantities if no available format in the RFQ.
Response to any post-tender commercial clarification or any price reduction required.
* Assist in preparing small quotations and requesting tender/performance bonds especially if the Technical Assistant is on leave.
* Assist in closing tender submission and other clerical works
Distribute, coordinate and gather the tender requirements to internal departments such as Commercial, Operations, Human Resource, QHSE, Finance, and Procurement.
* Be responsible for bid/tender commercial rates evaluation.
Liaise with Procurement Team with regards to materials, tools, equipment, vehicles, and outsourcing services required by the bid/tender.
* Retrieve tender documentation from portals as identified, or as directed by the Business Development Director.
* Complete submissions required to pre-set deadlines and/or as required by the Business Development Director or the General Manager.
* Liaise with the clients regarding any clarifications or amendments to tender notices.
* Ensure that all bids are accurately completed and represent the company’s experience and abilities, in order to secure the tender opportunity, starting from submission of the โPre-Qualification Questionnaireโ.
* Gather and develop information relating to specific tenders, relative projects, and long-term opportunities.
