Social Media Marketing And Events Coordinator
Duties & Responsibilities
· Serve as the primary point of contact for all catering inquiries, providing prompt and professional responses
· Work with clients to understand their needs and develop custom catering proposals
· Assist in the planning and execution of marketing campaigns, including but not limited to developing timelines, managing budgets, writing copy, and coordinating logistics
· Research and develop targeted lists of potential customers and partners for outreach efforts
· Implement lead-generation activities, such as webinars, e-books, and other digital content
· Manage social media accounts, creating and curating engaging content that aligns with campaign goals
· Analyze data to assess campaign effectiveness and ROI, and make recommendations for improvement
· Write and edit marketing collateral such as case studies, blog posts, press releases, and email newsletters
· Plan and execute events such as trade shows, conferences, and customer appreciation days
· Manage the execution of all catering events from start to finish, ensuring that they meet or exceed the client’s expectations
· Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in the catering industry and share new ideas with the team
· Oversee the set-up and break-down of all catering equipment and supplies, ensuring that they are properly stored and maintained
· Train and supervise all catering staff, ensuring that they are adhering to company standards and procedures
· Monitor food quality and safety throughout the event, making adjustments as necessary
· Maintain accurate records of all catering events, including menus, invoices, and client feedback and compile post-event reports
· Develop and implement systems and processes to improve the efficiency of the catering operation
· Monitor catering budget and make recommendations for cost savings
· Negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers
· Perform regular inspections of the catering facility and equipment
· Develop and execute social media marketing plans for assigned accounts, products, and/or services in order to build online visibility and grow customer engagement
· Write compelling copy for social media posts, ads, email campaigns, and other digital marketing collateral
· Create engaging visuals to accompany social media content, including static images, GIFs, and videos
· Manage social media paid advertising campaigns, including budgeting, targeting, creative development, and reporting
· Monitor social media channels for relevant conversations, identifying opportunities for engagement and growth
· Generate weekly and monthly reports on social media metrics, providing insights and recommendations for improvement
· Stay up-to-date on latest social media trends and best practices, sharing new ideas with the team
· collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Creative, PR, and Customer Service, to ensure a cohesive brand experience across all channels
· Assist with other marketing initiatives as needed, including content creation, email marketing, events, and general campaign support
· Maintain strict confidentiality with regard to client information and company data
· Adhere to all company policies and procedures
· Perform other duties as assigned
Required Skills and Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or related field
· 3-5 years of professional experience in marketing or event planning
· 3-5 years of professional experience in social media marketing or a related field
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Strong organizational and time management skills
· Creativity and innovative thinking
· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite, and social media platforms
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
· Experience with graphic design, web design, and video editing
· Experience with content marketing and lead generation
· Working knowledge of HTML and CSS
· Familiarity with Google Analytics and other reporting tools
· Driving license
