Spectrum Search are delighted to be hiring for a Product Analytics Manager with a focus on OTT for a global media organization based in Doha, Qatar.
This role will lead the Product Analytics team to support the strategy and goals for the companies MENAโs digital OTT platforms. You will build a dynamic team consisting of backend data engineers and front-end analysts to help make data-driven decisions and advanced analytics models across every aspect of the business.
Key responsibilities for you as Product Analytics Manager
- Partner closely with the Content & Marketing teams to gather data requirements, identify & unlock opportunities for insights.
- Develops and communicates delivery goals, strategies, tactics, project plans, timelines, and key performance metrics to reach goals.
- Work closely with the data engineers to translate business requirements into the right data structures and semantic layers.
- Proactively identifies areas in which business intelligence efforts can add business value for product in collaboration with Product Director and business functions.
- Leads interactions with data owners and business units to understand BI needs and establish commitments to the business.
- Analyses data to understand user behaviour, identify patterns, and provide insights on funnel optimization, user engagement and retention.
- Ensure accuracy of reporting & deliverables by setting up comprehensive policies and processes of data validation across several data sources.
What we are looking for in you as Product Analytics Manager
- 8+ yearsโ experience in a relevant Analytics role in OTT, Digital Media and/eCommerce, or similar direct-to-consumer industry
- 3+ years managing a team of at least 3 direct reports.
- Experience working with statistical packages (e.g. R, Python).
- Experience with articulating product questions, pulling data from datasets (SQL) and using statistics to arrive at an answer.
- Experience with most of our key data platform components and sources: Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud services, GA360, Conviva or MUX, Braze, Batch, Zuora.
- Knowledge of BI Visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker, Microsoft BI, Cognos
- Extremely curious about how our customers use our products and passionate about entertainment and sports broadcasting, digital media, OTT/SVOD. You are constantly asking “Who, What, Where, When, How and WHY?”
- English language fluency; Arabic and other language skills extremely valuable
- Degree or equivalent experience
