Job Title:Mechanical Technician
Work Location:Ras Laffan Industrial Cities
Main Duties/Responsibilities
· ● Follow HSE procedure and work with complete safety at all times
· ● Adhere to maintenance procedures and standards and industry best practices
· ● Work with Maintenance team and/or perform work independently
· ● Complete job plans request and job completion forms to create or modify job plans
· ● Organize planned maintenance of equipment and systems as per job plans and suppliers’ manuals
· ● Perform work associated with scheduled preventive and routine maintenance on all plant equipment
· ● Compile and record maintenance data and tests/inspections/calibrations of all Preventive and Corrective maintenance completed
· ● Document all plant based completed work (work orders) in the CMMS computerized maintenance management system as needed
· ● Operate mechanical equipment (portable grinding, drilling machine, alignment tools etc)
· ● Maintain, preserve and secure the tools and equipment
Skills & Experience Qualifications:
● Mechanical engineering Diploma
Experience:
· ● At least 7 years previous experience in a similar role/industry
· ● Able to do basics workshop activity (welding, cutting, drilling etc)
· ● To be able to perform Preventive and Corrective maintenance of (compressors, Pumps, Fan cooler, turbo expanders, seals, alignment check etc.)
· ● Good hands on experience with rotating machinery
· ● To be able to work independently or as part of a team
· ● Practical ability
· ● Experiences with Air Separation Plant Equipment would be an asset
Skills:
· ● Basic knowledge about mechanical tools and equipment
· ● Fluent use of English and technical writing skills
