Marketing & Communications Manager
As our Marketing & Communications Manager, under the general guidance and supervision of the Director of Sales and Marketing and within the limits of established policies & procedures, you will promote and maintain excellent relations with the media, public and guests in order to maintain the prestigious image of the hotel. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES are: Defines and implements all marketing, communications, brand and PR objectives through the development of annual and three-year plans Implements brand standards locally in line with regional brand strategies. Develops and manages all hotel communication materials & media portals including advertising, website, point of sale, newsletters, brochures, and in room branded collateral Monitors competitor activities and use this information when developing strategies Plans and manages sponsorship activities Develops a public relations program for the hotel based on its marketing goals. Manage, assign deliverables, and establish performance and development goals for team members. Provide mentoring, coaching and regular feedback to help manage conflict and improve team member performance. Support training & development initiatives for team members Maintain a high level of knowledge which affects the guest experience and demonstrate a โserviceโ attitude
What we need from you
- Ideally, you’ll have a minimum of 2-3 years experience in marketing role in a four or five-star hotel or comparable industry, ability to demonstrate working with and engaging teams from different cultures, strong verbal and written communication skills along with being quality oriented with focus on details, high performance standards, able to multi-task & meet deadlines and technical proficiency in related software. A university degree in PR, Marketing, Communications, Business, or related discipline and GCC experience is preferable.
