We are a fast growing company,seeking to
LOGISTICS COORDINATOR:
Responsibilities:
•Coordinate the shipment and transportation of goods from suppliers to customers or internal departments.
•Schedule and track shipments to ensure timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
•Prepare and maintain accurate documentation such as shipping manifests, bills of lading, and customs paperwork.
•Liaise with suppliers, vendors, transporters, and internal stakeholders to coordinate logistics activities and resolve any issues or delays.
•Negotiate freight rates, select carriers, and ensure transportation services meet quality, cost, and delivery requirements.
•Monitor logistics expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and optimize transportation routes or modes to achieve cost-effective operations.
•Assess and mitigate risks associated with logistics operations, ensuring the safety and security of shipments.
•Analyze logistics data, track key performance indicators, and generate reports to evaluate performance and identify areas for improvement.
•Continuously seek opportunities for process improvement, streamline workflows, and implement best practices to optimize logistics processes.
Requirements:
•Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
•Proven experience as a Logistic Coordinator or similar role, preferably in trading & contracting.
•Logistics experience in KSA, preferable.
•Strong knowledge of logistics and supply chain processes and procedures.
•Proficient in using logistics software, transportation management systems, or ERP systems.
•Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
•Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation.
•Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with various stakeholders.
•Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
•Problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
•Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance requirements in logistics and transportation.
Priority for QID & Qatari driving License holders with NOC.
