Spectrum Search are delighted to be recruiting for a Data Scientist to work as part of the Technology & Analytics team, supporting the strategy and goals for an international broadcast organisation working on a hugely exciting, digital OTT project with a focus on Entertainment.
The Data Scientist will work in a dynamic team consisting of data engineers and data scientist to help make data-driven decisions across every aspect of the business: customer insights, product & content usage, business performance tracking (incl. marketing attribution), market insights.
What we are looking for:
- 3+ yearsโ experience in a relevant BI/Analytics role
- Experience with programming is required; specific experience in R or Python is a plus
- Experience in machine learning, statistics, optimization or related fields; deeper experience in working with large data sets, simulation/ optimization or distributed computing tools is a plus
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- In reverse, the ability to organize the details into simple, high-level points. You have a knack for distilling what is most important and communicating these insights via bullet points, clear actionable recommendations and polished PPTs for busy, non-technical executives.
- Experience with most of our key data platform components and sources: Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud services, GA360, Conviva or MUX, Braze, Batch, Zuora.
- Knowledge of BI Visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker, Microsoft BI, Cognos
- Comprehensive knowledge of statistical methods
- Ideal candidates will have experience adhering to data security and privacy rules (GDPR or other similar legal codes) and be extra cautious on how data is handled.
- English language fluency; Arabic and other language skills extremely valuable
- Degree or equivalent experience
