HSE Supervisor
Type : Contract Hire

Job Purpose:
To manage and supervise in maintaining and implementation of HSE Requirements on operations and Maintenance (O & M) day to day activities and all the Projects Phases of the COMPANY activities. Ensures that O& M and the project HSE system meet the applicable HSE Requirement as applicable for the specific phase. Monitor implementation of HSE system in all areas of O & M, follow up on corrective actions by respective area owners to ensure timely closure and acts as a driving force for implementation of continuous improvement process in the area of HSE.
Job Specific Accountabilities
· Attends and participates in accidents management and investigation as and when required.
· Conducts comprehensive HSE site inspections as per inspection program, monitors action status and closeouts of action.
· Carry out onsite OH Surveillance & Monitoring (Thermal Workload Measurement / Noise survey) / Weekly Beat the Heat Checks during summer)
· Participate, roll-out and ensure employees engagement in HSE Campaign at site
· Participate in Leadership site visits & follow-up of site action
· Performs other related duties as assigned by the HSSEQ Department Manager.
Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge & Skills:
Minimum Qualification
· Bachelor Degree or Diploma in Engineering OR Bachelor Degree in relevant Science OR HSE discipline (from an institution of higher learning authorized to grant academic degrees in the country of issue) Must be fluent in English both spoken and writing
Minimum Experience & Knowledge & Skills
· Must have minimum five 05 – 10 years relevant experience in oil & gas or petrochemical industry
· Excellent knowledge of HSE principles and techniques
· Valid UAE driving license is mandatory.
· Experience in HSE Management Systems and knowledge of COMPANY HSE Standards would be highly advantageous.
· Exposure HSE Studies e.g. HAZID, TRA, JSA and other compliance related studies.
· Experience in projects HSE through EPC construction, Operation & Maintenance phases.
· Experience in site inspection, audit and monitoring on HSE requirements.
Professional Certifications
· Mandatory NEBOSH / IOSH / equivalent certification
· Lead / internal auditor certificate ISO45001 (ohsas18001) ,iso14001 shall be added advantage.
Membership of an appropriate and relevant professional institute shall be added advantage
