Visual Merchandiser
We are looking for a VISUAL MERCHANDISER, have minimum 5 to 7 years’ experience as Visual Merchandizer in an Interior Decoration Business or Interior Building Materials & Furniture Showrooms, Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, visual communications, interior design or any related field, holding a Qatar ID and able to provide NOC to join our company located at Doha, Qatar.
Summary:
Interior Designer & Sales will define, design, and implement a creative Visual Merchandising strategy according to the organization’s culture, products, image and target market. Generating sales through creative retail displays that capture buyers’ attention, with the goal of providing an excellent in-store experience. She will help in achieving the visual merchandising principles to convert window shoppers into prospects by driving branding and sales objectives in order to maximize the company’s profitability.
Functions:
Your duties will consist of but not limited to:
1. Define, design and implement a creative visual merchandising strategy according to the organization’s culture, products, image and target market.
2. Produce window displays, signs, interior displays, floor plans and special promotions display to reflect festive or seasonal themes.
3. Arrange eye-catching and well-presented visual displays appealing to the customers, showrooms are clean, and the furniture is in place, and cushions are arranged appropriately.
4. Generate sketches of visual displays that meet the store’s visual design requirements.
5. Source the props, creative materials, and accessories for displays.
6. Supervise contractors hired for the purpose of installing and setting up window displays, walkways, counters, and in-store displays.
7. Ensure uniformity of displays across multiple store locations.
8. Liaise with other retail professionals, including buyers, marketing executives, and Interior Designers when necessary.
9. Monitor costs and working within budget.
10. Research lifestyle and design trends that will inform the visual merchandising strategy.
Skills:
· Ability to create a computer-based floor plan and able to work with design software & templates.
