Due to an increase in demand for social media advertising, the Jobs section of Qatar Living is looking to hire a Jobs Assistant with a firm grasp of art and design concepts and an outstanding portfolio. The successful candidate will be reporting to the Head of Jobs section and be responsible for designing, creating, and managing social media content using a variety of tools and software; provide feedback and data collection from social media campaigns; working to a schedule, and taking on projects at short notice.
Key Areas of Responsibility
Moderating the Jobs pages.
Take ownership of design projects.
Design page layouts and templates.
Produce design assets for use in social media and marketing channels.
Develop and maintain consistent branding.
Support Jobs clients and product-related concerns
Handling office tasks, such as filing, generating reports, and presentations.
Maintain polite and professional communication via phone, e-mail, and mail.
Answering customer inquiries and anticipating their needs to ensure their seamless and positive experience.
Managing customer accounts, following up with customers for administrative purposes, and providing troubleshooting assistance, account statuses, and other problems.
Performing data entry tasks for sales figures, metrics, and other relevant information and maintaining organised and accessible filing system.
Qualifications & Experience
Essential
· A bachelor’s or associate degree in marketing, Business, Graphic design or another related field.
· At least 2 years of proven experience in graphic designing and customer service role, preferably in an online or e-commerce environment.
· Fluency in English (both spoken and written).
· Familiarity with social media platforms and online marketing strategies.
· Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think creatively to find solutions.
· Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships with customers and team members.
· Experience managing and growing a customer base.
· Creativity and artistic flair
· High levels of flexibility, punctuality, organization and an eye for detail are crucial in a role.
· A transferable QID/visa (NOC should be readily available).
