Procurement Officer โ Immediate Hiring!!!
Calibre is looking for an efficient Procurement Officer with profound experience in Supply Chain Management, Purchasing, contract negotiation with previous involvement in Food & Beverage. The candidate will follow appropriate procedures to ensure the efficiency of all procurement activities in the company.
Responsibilities
Estimate and establish cost parameters and budgets for purchases
Create and maintain good relationships with vendors/suppliers
Make professional decisions in a fast-paced environment
Maintain records of purchases, pricing, and other important data
Review and analyze all vendors/suppliers, supply, and price options
Develop plans for purchasing equipment, services, and supplies
Negotiate the best deal for pricing and supply contracts
Ensure that the products and supplies are high quality
Maintain and update a list of suppliers and their qualifications, delivery times, and
potential future development
Ensure that all order requested are fulfilled on daily basis to make operations smoother for the kitchen staff
Assist in managing the stock in the inventory costing and new projects if required
Requirements
Must be locally available with transferrable visa.
Degree in accounting, business management or a similar field preferred.
3+ years of experience as a procurement officer in a similar position.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and purchasing software.
Strong communication and negotiation skills.
Good analytical and strategic thinking skills.
Supervisory and management experience.
