Tabi Boba Cafe
Tabi Boba Cafe is looking for an experienced Operations Manager who will be responsible for overseeing all operations of the cafe, including hiring, training and performance management of all staff, inventory management, customer service, and creation of store goals and promotions to maximize profits.
The ideal candidate should be able to operate stores smoothly and understand the company’s direction and guide the team towards the same goal.
Lead and supervise the team on each shift, ensuring that the company maintains the highest quality of service standards
Oversees store staffing levels and assists in hiring and promotion assessments. Organizes labor to ensure adequate staffing.
Supervise, support and confirm that the outlets adhere to local regulations concerning health, safety, or other compliance requirements, as well as brand standards, policies and procedures
Monitors inventory levels and communicates with vendors to maintain business relationships and secure appropriate pricing, in coordination with the operations manager.
Responsible for ensuring that all financial duties and reporting are completed accurately, including all administrative tasks.
Seeks to grow customer base and increase store traffic by creating and leading promotions within and outside the store as well as maintaining functional, efficient, pleasant store environment and high-quality food and beverage offerings.
Seeks to increase sales, monitors weekly and monthly P&L data and works to increase bottom-line profits.
Helps to organize marketing efforts, including overseeing social media presence, completion of sampling and seasonal promotional goals and events, and interfacing with various groups and school organizations to grow customer base.
Handle any guest feedback on food quality and service
Routine inspection of all outlet equipment to assure all are in proper working condition and prepare a list of equipment in need of repair and maintenance
Regular stock-taking to ensure sufficient supplies in restaurant/café for smooth operation
Plan staff roster based on outlet’s operational requirements
Supervise and support the operations of at least two restaurants/cafés
Able to function as customer relations and handle customer reservations
Ad-hoc responsibilities assigned by the Manager
Two or more years of proven success in an operations management role
Strong skills in budget development and oversight
Excellent ability to delegate responsibilities while maintaining organizational control of branch operations and customer service
Proficiency in conflict management and business negotiation processes
Knowledge of business productivity software and an aptitude for learning new applications
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in operations management, business administration, or related field
Strong IT skills, including database development
Multiple years of financial and account reporting experience
Ability to communicate in more than one language
