We are currently looking for an experienced Communications Specialist to join our organisation, to help manage Jaidah Group’s internal and external communications whilst acting as the focal point for providing professional and accurate business communications in Arabic as well as original content creation. This role will also take responsibility for content generation and creation for the Jaidah Group monthly newsletter and also for the management of the Jaidah Group Facebook Workplace application.

For this role we require candidates to be bilingual (Arabic/English).

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with individual business owners to develop comprehensive corporate communications strategies
  • Prepare business reports and other business communications in Arabic and English
  • Support the preparation and content development of the Jaidah Group monthly newsletter
  • Create internal communications protocols and initiatives
  • Coordinate external and internal communications
  • Collaborate with marketing partners to produce copy
  • Acquire and maintain a detailed knowledge of Jaidah Group’s policies, principles, and strategies
  • Develop, adhere to and update the Jaidah Group communication guidelines
  • Translating a range of business communications and documents from English to Arabic
  • Managing Jaidah Group’s Facebook Workplace including content management and adherence to Jaidah guidelines and principles
  • Manage all formal corporate communication with relevant governmental entities and attending meetings as required
  • Preparing regular monthly reports and communications for shareholders

Essential Experience Required

  • 5 years minimum experience working in business communications roles
  • Copywriting, proofreading and editing
  • Experience in creating and translating business communications
  • Excellent portfolio with a proven track record of successful project execution
  • Proven experience of designing and managing communication strategies
  • Content writing experience across all paper and digital media platforms.
  • Translating English communication into Arabic without losing the style or tone of messages
